HARD UGANDA 20th August 2025 meeting on EYE4SDGS

On 20th August 2025, HARD UGANDA the Project Coordinator , in collaboration with key stakeholders, convened an official inception meeting for the “Empowering Youth Engagement for Sustainable Development Goals (EYE4SDGs)”Project. The gathering took place at the UNHCR Hall, OPM Base Camp, Omugo Zone, bringing together more than 20 representatives from government agencies, humanitarian organizations, civil society, and community structures. The meeting served as a platform to introduce the project’s objectives, scope, and implementation strategy, while promoting collaboration and alignment with ongoing development and humanitarian initiatives within the settlement. EYE4SDGs aims to amplify youth voices and strengthen their active participation in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within both refugee and host communities. Emphasizing youth agency, inclusive participation, and accountability, this initiative marks a critical step towards localizing the 2030 Agenda at the grassroots level,empowering young people to lead positive change for sustainable development in Rhino Camp.
